Nicole's awareness and appreciation of art grew while living on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago. As a child, she enjoyed exploring the fauna and flora of the island, reading, and drawing. The island's "melting pot" society embraced the customs and traditions of every creed and race. This was important to her and soon became the inspiration for some of her creative projects.
